Welcome, Educators!
The all-in-one hub for Kind Mind teachers, principals, counsellors and school staff!
How It Works:
We’re so glad you’re helping bring Kind Mind to your school and/or classroom! The program is designed to make conversations about mental well-being simple, meaningful, and fun for students, while also keeping the load manageable and flexible for educators!

Our Commitment to Sustainability
Kind Mind Month is dedicated to sustainable practices. Once Kind Mind Month has wrapped at your school, please place all unused items back in your classroom kit, bring them to your Kind Mind Leader (School Counsellor/Principal) and drop off all kits back to The Kelty Foundation’s kit packing partners. For more detailed instructions, click here.
QUESTIONNAIRE AND RESOURCE HAND OUT
To kick-off Kind Mind Month, teachers play the Program Introduction video, hand out the challenge books and resources and have your students complete the questionnaire — make sure to keep these for the end of the month!
Weekly Kind Mind Videos
Teachers play the Kind Mind Animated Video for their class at the start of each week, for a total of 4 weeks. Each video is less than 5 minutes long and introduces the week’s mental well-being theme and weekly challenge, encouraging students to complete the activity at home with a parent, caregiver, or trusted adult.
ADDITIONAL RESOURCES
Use Kind Mind Month as an opportunity to create open, supportive conversations about mental well-being in the classroom.
The optional Kind Mind Lesson Guides are available for teachers who wish to discuss the challenges in class in more detail. To expand on the conversation, each teacher is gifted a Thumball — a fun and interactive way to get students talking and reflecting on their mental well-being!
RECOGNIZE PARTICIPATION
Each week, encourage students to complete the Kind Mind challenge at home with their caregiver. For students who may not have support at home, challenges can be completed with any trusted adult.
When a student completes the weekly challenge, teachers place a Happy Face Sticker (provided in your classroom kit) on the bottom right corner of their page to recognize their participation. At the end of the month, draw a name to win the Kind Mind Hat, found in your classroom kit.
school-wide AWARDS ASSEMBLY celebration
At the end of Kind Mind Month, bring your school community together for a school-wide celebration of mental well-being, community, and connection! Your Principal Kit includes everything you need to celebrate, including Kind Mind Certificates to recognize two students per grade for their participation, a Kind Mind Celebration Video to share with your school and Kelty’s Kind Mind Crew Bracelets for every student.
Your Feedback Strengthens Our Impact
