Kind Mind School Tour

At The Kelty Foundation, we believe in focusing upstream—building resilience, reducing stigma and raising awareness for families about the mental health resources available before crisis hits. Introducing the Kind Mind Program: a school-based initiative that encourages meaningful conversations around mental health and equips families with the tools to foster mental well-being from the start.

The Kind Mind School Tour is here to reduce stigma, build resilience, ignite conversations and amplify mental health awareness for both parents and children.

Our Kind Mind Program provides teachers, students, and parents with mental health tools crafted by our team of child psychologists, school counsellors, teachers and educators. We’re proud to partner with leading mental health organizations to offer these enriching experiences.

Best of all, this program is FREE for schools with limited spots available!

Kind Mind: Year One Impact

90% of parents reported that the Kind Mind Program strengthened communication and connection within their family

90% of parents reported that they felt more confident discussing mental health topics after the Kind Mind Program

77% of parents and 60% of teachers discovered new mental health resources

When it comes to mental illness, childhood is a critical period, with 70% of mental health problems beginning during childhood or adolescence.

At a time when youth mental health challenges are rising, Kind Mind focuses upstream — providing students and families with simple, stigma-free tools to build emotional resilience before crisis hits.

Each week during Kind Mind Month, students engage in kindness challenges and social-emotional activities that open the door for real conversations at home. Every student brings home Kind Mind resources — including magnets and take-home sheets that connect caregivers to mental health supports in their community.

Because reaching parents in a meaningful and memorable way is one of The Kelty Foundation’s biggest goals.

Party with a Purpose

Our month long Kind Mind program is rewarded by an EPIC Confi-dance party with leading kids DJ— DJ Beau!

A performer in a shiny costume interacts with a crowd of children in a school gymnasium. The kids are reaching out to her as she holds a microphone. The background features a school logo and a group of onlookers.

This epic dance party is infused with mental health messages and high energy, confidence-building music that creates a sense of belonging and connection within the school community. A professional entertainer who has headlined events across the country, Rachel, aka DJ Beau, is known for her ability to elevate any event she performs at, enriching the lives of children and adults through the arts.
