Kind Mind Recycling Program

Why We Recycle

Recycling is at the core of the Kind Mind Program. By reusing unused or extra materials from program kits, together we are able to:

  • Reduce waste by keeping usable materials out of landfills.

  • Stretch our resources further, so more schools and students can be reached with the same investment.

  • Lower our environmental footprint of producing new materials for every school, every year.

  • Reinvest the savings directly into expanding the program to new classrooms and communities.

How To Recycle Program Kits

Teachers: Before returning your classroom kit to your Program Leader, please ensure all student Feedback Questionnaires have been placed in the Kind Mind Mailbox Envelope (located inside your program kit box).

Once all questionnaires have been collected, please leave the envelope inside your classroom kit box along with any unused materials (e.g., bookmarks, magnets, challenge books, stickers, etc.).

Please feel free to keep any items you plan to use. Any remaining materials returned to us will be refreshed and reused in future schools, helping us reduce waste and extend the impact of the Kind Mind Program.

Program Leader: Please collect all recycled kits from each classroom and place them into the original large shipping box.

There are multiple ways to return your kits to us:

  1. Organize a volunteer to bring the box(es) back to our partners Starworks Packaging and Assembly: 276 SW Marine Dr, Vancouver, BC V5X 2R5

  2. Organize a return shipment with your preferred shipping company back to our partners, Starworks Packaging and Assembly: 276 SW Marine Dr, Vancouver, BC V5X 2R5

  3. If the above isn’t possible, please email our team at contact@thekeltyfoundation.org and we’ll do our best to arrange a return.
