Kind Mind Month at The Arbutus Club
The Kelty Foundation is proud to partner with Arbutus Club for Kind Mind Month—an initiative dedicated to promoting children and youth mental health in an engaging and accessible way.
Throughout the month, members will experience a range of events and activations designed to spark meaningful conversations, encourage kindness, and build a stronger sense of community.
Highlights include:
A Kindness Tree where members can share messages of kindness and enter to win a prize at the end of the month
Kindness Bingo where kids and youth can complete kindness acts and receive a Arbutus Club Kindness Krew t-shirt
Curated resources for the youth room to support emotional well-being
Two impactful workshops:
• Navigating Big Emotions: Kind Mind for Parents led by Sheldon Franken of Soshemo
• Social Media Literacy led by Erin Treloar of Free to Be TalksOngoing conversations to reduce stigma and support upstream approaches to mental health
We’re deeply grateful to The Arbutus Club for championing this important cause and helping foster a more connected, compassionate, and mentally healthy community.
Together, we can make a lasting impact in the lives of children and youth.
