JOIN 'THE KELTY CIRCLE'
Join our list of major donors, otherwise known as our, Guardians of the Kelty's Circle. These individuals and corporations have generously committed to a $30,000 ($10,000 over a 3 year period) toward preventing depression related suicide. All Guardians will receive an exquisite personalized piece of artwork by Guii clan artist, Jeff Robinson, as shown here. All Guardians will receive a full tax receipt.

DONATING GIFTS OF STOCK AND SECURITIES
Making a donation of securities is a thoughtful way for you to make a gift. Many donors are turning their investments into gifts for the Kelty Patrick Dennehy Foundation and, at the same time, benefiting by increasing their tax savings.
Thanks to a new tax break introduced by the 2006 Federal Budget, which eliminated capital gains taxes on gifts of publicly listed securities donated to charities, all appreciated stock donated will be exempt from capital gains taxes. In this way, the gift creates both a tax credit towards your annual income taxes plus a reduction in capital gains taxes.
Donors will receive a tax receipt for income tax purposes for the full market value of the securities at the date of the transfer. This can be applied to your income taxes over the next five years, as any charitable contribution would, but in addition any capital gains taxes you would have paid on the shares are eliminated. Gifts of appreciated publicly listed securities makes stock the least expensive way to give a donation to the Foundation.
Making a gift of stock is easy.
IN MEMORIUM DONATIONS
Over the past six years, numerous families have generously requested that "in lieu of flowers" donations be made to the Foundation. These families have listed the name and address of our Foundation on the funeral program and in the obituary.
IN CELEBRATION DONATIONS - GIFT REGISTRY
Those who suffer from depression or have felt its effects are beginning to search for more meaningful ways to celebrate significant events in their lives. Children who are celebrating birthdays have asked friends to donate to the Foundation in lieu of receiving presents. Couples getting married or people celebrating a special marker in their lives have included the Foundation in their gift registry or wish lists.

An old friend of the Dennehy family, Ed Styffe of Whistler, rewrote his will and included the Foundation as a beneficiary

Donate some of your points to the Foundation.
AMERICAN FRIENDS OF WHISTLER
For U.S. investors the foundation is allianced with a group called 'The American Friends of Whistler'. Now U.S. supporters who donate to our Canadian Foundation can donate through AFOW and receive the full charitable tax benefit for their U.S. donation. .
